Pension Westerburen is a family bed & breakfast in Schiermonnikoog. It is located in the heart of the village centre. Westerburen has eleven double rooms, it is also possible to place an extra bed in two rooms. Pets are not allowed in the guest house.
In the conservatory of the bed & breakfast, breakfast is served in the morning with fresh bread every day from the local hot bakery, cheese from the local cheese shop and meats from the Waddenslager from Anjum. You can also enjoy, for example, fair trade coffee and tea, a delicious special beer from the region or an organic wine during your entire stay through self-service.
If you would like to have your dinner delivered or picked up by a restaurant of your choice, we will provide crockery. In addition, we work together with restaurant Brakzand and Havenpaviljoen Wad Anderz, where you can eat the daily menu at a reduced rate.
All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet and are equipped with a TV and seating area. Bed linen and towels are included.
You can use free WiFi everywhere in our bed & breakfast.
Huisdieren Pets are not allowed in the entire guest house. All rooms are also non-smoking.
In addition to a room with breakfast, you can also choose to book a lunch or dinner.
In addition to a room with breakfast, you can also put together a lunch package from the extensive breakfast buffet. If you would like to make use of this, please let us know 1 day in advance and you will then receive the correct supplies.
You can also reserve lunch or dinner menus at 1 of the restaurants we work with. You can indicate these options when booking your room. For more information, look at the site at "Arangements" later on the site.
With every reservation via our own site, you will receive free coffee/tea during your stay.
The former owners of Westerburen (our (in-law) parents) rent apartments. Reservations of them are done through them. On the page of the apartments you can check the availability and also make a reservation directly.
The apartments are located in a house on the Reddingsweg, on the east side of the village. This is a very quiet location with no through car traffic. The house is also a short walk from the village center and with forest and dune areas on your doorstep. Pets are allowed here.
The apartments can be rented by both 2 and 4 people. You pay a deposit in advance and can opt for a final cleaning, so you don't have to clean yourself.
